The agreement
These terms are between Decoded Lemon (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa and the owner of CrecheWorks, and the centre that subscribes. Staff and parents use the service under the centre's subscription and do not pay us directly.
Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions are bought on this website and billed monthly in advance in South African rand. A free plan is available with reduced limits. If a payment fails we will notify the centre and retry; if it remains unpaid the centre reverts to the free plan. Your records are not deleted when this happens and you may export them at any time.
Your data stays yours
The centre owns the records it captures. We process them to provide the service and in line with our privacy policy. You may export a full copy of your centre's data at any time, on any plan.
Acceptable use
The service holds information about children. Accounts must not be shared, and access must be removed promptly when a staff member leaves. The centre is responsible for keeping its own consents and records accurate.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Registers and daily reports continue to work on staff devices without a connection and sync once connectivity returns.
Ending the agreement
A centre may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid period. On request we will delete the centre's data, subject to any records we are required by law to retain.
